United Medical Inc. was established in 1993. CEO Mr. Patrick Ger runs a number of businesses in the field of ophthalmology.
Mr. Ger graduated with a degree of Pharmaceutics from Taipei Medical University in 1987. He has previously worked in Alcon for five years and other Taiwan Ophthalmology companies until UMI was established in 1993. Since 1993 we have worked with Storz, B&L (2005), WaveLight laser (2009).
We strive to find the best available products to distribute. In pursuit of this vision Mr. Ger, along with the UMI team attend ASCRS, ESCRS, AAO, WOC, APAO and similar events each year.
There are three offices located in Taipei (North), Taichung (Central) and Kaohsiung (South) respectively with 22 staffs and 4 subdistributors.
In these years, United Medical Inc. has attained a leading position in cataract and refractive. Several authorizations of distributing will be added soon.
